Statement on ICE’s Murder of Alex Pretti

Immigration agents have committed yet another murder in Minneapolis, killing Alex Pretti while he was completely restrained.

As their reign of terror expands, so must our movement against it. Yesterday, we saw the people of Minnesota rise up with a general strike in protest of ICE brutality and Trump’s racist right wing agenda. Tonight, people in dozens of cities, including my city of Boston, will take to the streets demanding justice for Alex and an end to ICE terror nationwide. 

The time is now to expand the general strike — to show we are more powerful than them.
